I don’t know where to fight, don’t know where to go, feeling closure won’t rewind – humble as I learned that my home wasn’t where I grew, up as a simple son.
I felt light as a feather floating – buried my toes in the sand, and watched the echo of my past
Under the pressure under the pressure, I started to react, trespass into this life
Under the pressure under the pressure, I started to react, trespass into this life –
Do I even believe anymore?
The feather was my only relief, I whispered: easy now, you are stronger than the masses.
Embed these words in the fight – I’m not near the core – looking in to this light of min - stop falling, stop falling, leave it, restless
As I raise my head, one more time – felt a brief indulgence of my impulses –
Don’t want to decline – one more time - felt a brief indulgence of my impulses
I open my window, just to let you in again – I want what I can’t define.
I open my window, just to let it in again – I want what I can’t define
Heritage will not define me anymore – end the circle.
Now i’m falling back into the shame - strong thoughts building surface
Indefinite Waves washes me away - strong thoughts building surface
Under the pressure under the pressure, I started to react, trespass in to this life
I don’t usually go out much for metalcore/deathcore but this album would easily make my shortlist. Emotionally captivating with great storytelling and an overall solid musical performance. 7/10 RJ
Midwestern prog-metal stalwarts go for the throat on their new EP, featuring a roiling cover of the Smashing Pumpkins' “1979.” Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 7, 2019
One of the best modern prog metal groups out there... Even their freshmen years were absolutely fantastic... Great EP... One of the only bands I'm truly saddened by, knowing I don't have their music on vinyl... "hint, hint" enemyofthenight
